The characteristics of both soil and subsoil, the Mediterranean climate, the complexity of the waters and the irrigation method are the ideal for the noble Trincadeira and Aragonês varieties, making for grapes of unusual characteristics and quality.

In our Certified Biological Method viticulture weeding is a manual process. No synthetically produced chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or other chemical agents are used.
The vines are fertilized annually through the plantation of certain kinds of local plants that replenish the ideal nitrogen level of the soil.
The grapes are manually gathered, selected on the field and transported in boxes limited to 15 kg to prevent crushing during transportation. Upon arriving at the mill the grapes are again selected and pressed. The winemaking involves a mild pressing and a post-fermentative maceration, according to the biologic production technique. The entire fermentation process is controlled by regular laboratory tests.

Our high quality wine is made possible through a combination of high quality biologic farming and high technology winemaking. The result is an exceptional organic wine.
A number of selected wine batches is aged for two or three years in French oak barrels, to obtain an even more exclusive and limited vintage wine production.
